For project managers,it is an important goal for construction projects to achieve profit maximization through strengthening cost control.There are many ways to control the cost of construction projects.After long-term practice,earned value method was gradually accepted in project cost control and management.Traditional cost management methods often only emphasize the element of project cost,while earned value method strengthens the overall consideration of project cost and schedule.Through continuous dynamic control,deviation analysis and deviation correction,the project cost and schedule are monitored in the whole process,so that cost management and schedule control coordinate and promote each other to ensure that the project can achieve the established goals.Based on S project as the specific research object,this paper combined with T company of the project cost management present situation,to put forward problems,analyzing reasons,proposes the countermeasure for the study of the overall train of thought,makes every effort to solve the problems existing in the project cost management S.Firstly,it reviews the development status of cost management at home and abroad,and summarizes the theories and methods of cost management at home and abroad and their application results.Secondly,according to the specific characteristics,cost and schedule control present situation of S project,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the cost control of S project of T company,such as the lack of specific and detailed project cost budgeting,the lack of timely and rigorous project cost accounting and analysis,and analyzes the main reasons for the cost management problems of S project in depth by combining the questionnaire method.Finally,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the level of project cost management,to achieve the goal of cost save and control.
