Since the 21 st century,my country has entered a stage of rapid economic development,and people’s living standards have also improved.More and more people choose to travel by air.Therefore,cities have increased their efforts to build and upgrade their airports.Airport headroom is a necessary condition to ensure that the aircraft can navigate normally at the airport.Failure to meet the airport headroom requirements cannot guarantee the safety of the aircraft and passengers.Therefore,in the different stages of airport site selection,construction and maintenance,it is necessary to carry out clearance measurement of airport artificial buildings,mountain topography,trees,etc.,and determine whether it meets the clearance standards specified by the International Civil Aviation Organization.For airports that do not meet the airport clearance standards,they will be required to stop construction or rectify.In order to improve the efficiency of airport clearance measurement,this paper proposes a design scheme of airport clearance laser rangefinder.By consulting the airport clearance standards promulgated by the International Civil Aviation Organization and related documents at home and abroad,this paper presents the interface division of obstacle restriction surfaces in airport clearance and the calculation method of obstacle height restrictions on these restriction surfaces.On the basis of theoretical research in the early stage,combined with the development direction of embedded systems in recent years,the function requirements of the laser ranging system were analyzed,and the method of combining software and hardware was designed,and STM32F103VET6 was selected as the microcontroller for system development;In the mid-term practical application development,by searching for relevant data manuals and Cortex-M3 authoritative guides,the system hardware is driven and written,mainly for LCD,buttons,SD cards and other drivers,and the Fat Fs file system is transplanted;later,it is operated according to Free RTOS The system completes the writing of the application program according to the functional requirements,and modifies and optimizes it in the actual application.After theoretical research and system application development,the design of a handheld airport clearance laser rangefinder based on Free RTOS is finally completed.The laser rangefinder has functions such as measurement,keystrokes,display,and storage.When surveying personnel use the laser rangefinder at the airport,they first need to input the airport’s coordinate data and runway type geometric parameters on the laser rangefinder,and then start measuring the airport objects,which can quickly obtain accurate airport clearance measurement data,And determine whether it meets the airport clearance standards.In addition to the airport clearance function,the laser range finder designed in this paper also extends the ranging functions such as point-to-point ranging,point-to-line ranging,and line-to-line ranging to meet actual measurement requirements.The test results show that the laser ranging system has been applied in the airport,and the performance of the system also meets the requirements for use.The airport clearance range finder studied in this paper plays a very important role in the airport clearance measurement of civil airports.
