In the process of engine room design,the role of human’s subjective initiative in engine room is seldom considered.Take the ship accident represented by the amphibious assault ship USS Bon Homme Richard CV-31 for example,most ship accidents are related to human error.As the power cabin of ship,the accident of engine room has obvious influence on the safety and benefit of navigation.Therefore,in order to reduce the accident caused by human error in engine room,the problem of human error should be considered in the early design of engine room.Combining with the characteristics of great correlation between human error and space environment of engine room,thesis optimizes the layout of equipment in engine room,so that the equipment not only meets the requirements of correlation and balance of engine room,but also achieves the purpose of improving reliability of human.The specific research done in thesis is as follows:Firstly,the methods of equipment layout in the cabin,the crew’s task and the influence factors of human reliability in engine room are analyzed.The relationship between crew’s task flow,human reliability and engine room equipment layout are clarified.Secondly,the advantages and disadvantages of several methods for human reliability analysis(HRA)are analyzed,and the existing methods are proposed to solve the problem of engine room layout.The human reliability correction factor was improved based on the engine room environment,and the HRA approach based on the engine room maintenance task was proposed.At the same time,the optimization problem of engine room equipment layout is quantified as a mathematical model with human reliability,equipment correlation and engine room balance as objective functions.Thirdly,the visibility graph approach is used to establish model of the engine room path planning,and based on the genetic algorithm,the engine room equipment layout optimization solution platform is developed to make the solution of the path planning model and layout optimization model more efficient and convenient.Finally,the application of the developed platform is combined with the ship example,and the results of the layout optimization are displayed through a three-dimensional model.At the same time,the Delmia software is used to simulate the experimental results,in order to compare the improvement of the important parameters before and after the optimization of the equipment layout.
