Steel frame filled reinforced concrete shear wall(SRCW)is a new structure system composed of a steel frame and a reinforced concrete shear wall by shear connectors, which possess large stiffness and lateral strength. It is an economical system to resist lateral force. In this paper, based on the ABAQUS software, the finite element model of SRCW is established, and the elastic-plastic analysis of SRCW under monotonic horizontal load are performed to study the cooperative working mechanism and the shear bearing capacity of the components in the SRCW;the load-lateral displacement curve of the filled wall is divided into three stages: rapid rise, platform and reinforcing bars yield;the effects of design parameters such as the connective form between the column and the infill wall, the connective form of the beam and column, the height to width ratio and the thickness of the infill wall, the rates of the horizontal reinforcing bars and vertical reinforcing bars, the concrete strength of the infill wall and the stiffness of the frame beam and the frame column on the SRCW behavior are analyzed.Based on the finite element simulation results of 144 SRCW specimens, the formulas to calculate the ultimate shear capacity of the reinforced concrete wall in the SRCW are proposed.
