Abstract/Summary:
The numerical simulation method of computational fluid dynamics was used to analyze the flow field characteristics of the piston-type flow regulating valve using the helical fan-type deflector.The analysis results were used to determine the structural deficiencies of the regulating valve,and the corresponding improvement goals and solutions were proposed.For the DN1000 piston type flow regulating valve equipped with spiral fan-type deflector as the research object,the 3D model was established using the 3D modeling software Solidworks,and the established 3D model was imported into the ANSYS Workbench co-simulation platform to extract the flow field calculation domain.And mesh the flow field calculation domain.Combining the related theoretical methods of classical fluid mechanics and the turbulent flow,viscous flow and two-phase mixed flows in the valve flow field,the flow field control equation of the piston flow control valve is established.The fluid calculation software Fluent is used to perform numerical simulation calculation on the steady-state flow field of different opening degrees of the control valve.After the calculation is completed,the result file is imported into the post-processing software CFD-Post for visual processing of the data results,and a visual cloud image of the flow field including pressure,velocity,trace,and vapor volume fraction is obtained.Through detailed analysis of the calculation results,the main causes of vortex,flash evaporation and cavitation phenomena in the flow field are determined,the valve structure that causes these phenomena is found,and the corresponding improvement goals and solutions are proposed.The reduced pressure structure and the hollow opening of the closed piston sleeve are recalculated for the improved model.The comparison results show that the improved structure can effectively reduce the phenomenon of vortex,flash evaporation and cavitation in the valve.
