Performance evaluation,as an important part of the modern management system,has always been a hot research topic in the accounting and business circles.With the development of the market economy and the idea of maximizing the value of the company is increasingly recognized,shareholders and managers have gradually realized the important role of performance evaluation in business management。The business management environment is becoming increasingly complex,and a single performance evaluation method is gradually unable to meet the needs of modern business management.The traditional main evaluation method that uses accounting data and profit to measure business results has many disadvantages.Benefits;excessive focus on short-term performance and neglecting long-term development;blindly expanding business scale and neglecting capital costs,etc.Therefore,how to establish a scientific and effective performance evaluation method is of great significance to the modern enterprise management system.As the pillar industry in China,the power industry has a significant impact on economic development.With the deepening of the reform of the power system and the acceleration of the process of power marketization,the performance evaluation system of traditional power companies has been unable to meet the development needs of power companies.Performance evaluation system.This thesis mainly adopts the case analysis method.The dissertation first summarizes many methods of performance evaluation at home and abroad,focuses on related theories of economic value added and balanced scorecard,compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods,and explores the feasibility of combining the two methods.Based on this,Huaneng International was taken as the research object,and by analyzing the current performance evaluation system,it was pointed out that there were problems such as incomplete indicators,too much emphasis on financial indicators,neglecting non-financial indicators.Based on this,a balanced scorecard performance evaluation method with economic growth at the core of the financial dimension was designed to address this problem,and combined with the development characteristics of the power industry,a more scientific indicator was selected from many evaluation indicators.The reasonable evaluation indicators covering financial and non-financial aspects have improved Huaneng International’s performance evaluation system.In the calculation process,this article uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weights of various indicators,design related scoring methods,and based on the actual development of Huaneng International,put forward safeguard measures on the basis of the smooth implementation of the EVA-BSC system,and establish a sound system performanceAssessment system.Finally,the paper concludes and reflects on the conclusion of the paper,pointing out the deficiencies found in the research process and the prospects for future related research.
