The total productive maintenance theory was firstly applied in Japan Denso Corporation,and spread and matured in Toyota Motor Corporation.With the global success of Toyota Motor,it has been popularized to the global automotive industry.The TPM theory provides enterprises a new set of management concept.The implementation of TPM can motivate all employees to participate in equipment maintenance activities.By changing the mindset of employees,strengthening the equipment reliability,ultimately strengthen the corporate constitution,and enhance the enterprises market competitiveness.Since 2018,with the increase of domestic car ownership and the decline in car sales,the auto industry stands at a turning point from incremental competition to stock competition.As a result,the industry internal competition has become more intense.Changes in the external environment have forced companies to enhance their own management capabilities,including the reform of equipment management modes.The TPM concept has also been introduced and popularized in more and more enterprises.This dissertation introduced the background and significance of the topic,the research ideas and framework,and briefly explained the definition of TPM,its target and content,and the theory developing process of equipment maintenance management in domestic and abroad.Based on the CH workshop equipment maintenance management actual status,and by applying the data analysis method existing managerial problems were discerned and summarized in CH workshop equipment maintenance management.Reasons for the problems were acquired by using combination of the TPM three principles: all employee,total efficiency,and total system.Based on the problems and their reasons,strategies on equipment maintenance management improvement for CH workshop,including five specific plans and implementation steps,were proposed by using TPM methodological pillars such as autonomous maintenance,individual improvement,professional maintenance,initial management,talent training,and affair efficiency.The five major improvement ways are to set up equipment monitoring system,work orders tracking system,autonomous maintenance system,talent-training system,and spare parts management system.In order to implement the strategies successfully,three safeguards were proposed including organizational guarantee,institutional guarantee,and technical guarantee.The safeguards indicate the CH workshop a suitable promotion route and directions to implement TPM. |
