Research On The Contribution Degree Of Chinese Automobile Industry:A View From "Supply-side Reform"

Based on the premise that does not loosen the economic development of demand side,a new viewpoint of supply-side structural reform to accelerate the shifting of growth model is put forward by central government in late2015.The country will comprehensively deepen supply-side structural reform,which emphasizes de-production capacity,de-stocking,optimizing the key elements of productivity,reasonable adjustment of industrial structure,improving the quality and efficiency of the source of supply-side.It has become a new development path of economy under the background of the new normal.As the country’s pillar industry of the economy,the automobile industry with an extensive upstream and downstream industry chains plays a more and more important part in China’s economic development.After a good run during the boom years,both the automobile industry scale and the automobile production and sales amount of China are in a leading international level.However,under such high-speed situation of expanding,unreasonable development of the source of supply-side are appearing,which are mainly reflected as irrational allocation of production factors,low technical additional value,lessening of innovation ability.Automobile industry is in urgent demand of promoting structural reforms of the supply front and unswervingly implement innovation-driven development strategy to increase technical additional value,capacity for independent innovation.But not only that.With the development of the automobile industry reform,the economic development pattern of demand-led will gradually replace by supply-side development pattern of market-driven.With the contribution degree from factors of production of supply-side structure,(such as capital,labor,and land)deepening,the degree of contribution of new-type supplyside structure factor such as systematic factor,technology factor and innovative factor is increasing gradually for automobile industry development.Supply-side reform play an active role in changes of the factor contribution degree of automobile industry.Therefore,from the perspective of supply-side reform to study of path changes of the contributions of factors during the development of automobile industry and calculating the factor contribution degrees are of realistic significance for its future development in our country.The background and significance of choosing this topic is firstly expatiated based on the viewpoint of economy in this paper.The correlative theory,summary of the background and the orientation of this research,and research methods are presented in section two.The third part of this paper analyzes variance routine of the supply-side factors of China’s automobile industry.In this section,development of automobile industry in China is divided into four stages.And on this basis,the changes and contribution of supply side factors in various periods are analyzed from from macroscopic to microcosmic,comprehensive analysis of the change path of factors,and the trend of future contribution of factors.The fourth part is an empirical analysis of the contribution of automobile industry factors in China.The contribution degrees of China’s automobile industry factors from 2000 to2015 have been calculated.The result indicated that the contribution of technical factor was 32.41%,the contribution of capital factor was 36.11%,and the contribution of labor factor was 31.48%.The next research analyses the influencing factors of capital,labor and technology factors,refining the influence factors,and thus a more comprehensive analysis of the changes and the reasons of the contribution degrees of automobile industry can be conducted.The fifth section are policy suggestions.Based on path analysis,calculating the factor contribution degrees of automobile industry in our country,as well as the factor analysis of factor contribution degrees in this study,the research puts forward the following relevant policy recommendations to automobile industry future development in China: first,strengthen the government’s policy guidance,and optimize the quality and efficiency of the supply of the automobile industry by taking the opportunity of supply-side reform.Second,improve the research and design ability of core technologies,strengthen talent development,and improve the efficiency of technology transformation of automobile industry.Third,optimize the investment of capital factor,expand overseas market and improve the efficiency of capital factors.Fourth,optimize the supply of labor factors,reasonably control the quantity and scale of enterprises,and encourage the merger and reorganization of enterprises.
