The concept of zero defects was proposed by international quality expert Philip Crosby in the 1960s.As an advanced quality management concept,it has been increasingly accepted and endorsed by the industrial and commercial communities all over the world. As a kind of scientific quality management practice,it has been employed to carry out the quality management improvement work.In the face of the new trend of global manufacturing transformation and upgrading, rapid development of space science and technology, and increasingly fierce competition, the current aerospace industry has been in a new situation characterized by high technology and marked by high quality, which proposes higher requests for the quality management work of the aerospace industry.HT Company,a state-owned large aerospace enterprise under the corporate mission of"empowering the military with science and technology and serving the nation through aerospace industry",is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading.Zero defects management is an effective method to effectively improve the quality management level of the HT Company.Taking zero defects management as the research objective and system engineering as the research concept, this paper studies the actual application of zero defects management for air-defense missiles of the HT Company, analyzes the existing problems, and conducts deep anatomic research. An improvement plan is put forward, and the implementation realities are summarized. This study has played a powerful role in promoting the zero defects management for air-defense missiles of the HT Company and has certain reference and guidance significance for the application of zero defects management in peer companies.
