At present,it became an important development strategy for our country to promote the construction of urbanization and the development of urban agglomerations and metropolitan region. In order to build a strong urban transportation to promote the development of urbanization,in July 2017,government putted forward the"Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Metropolitan(Suburban)Railways",which requires that the overall planning and optimizing of metropolitan(suburban)railway development[1,2].The development of the metropolitan railway is connected with the research of suburban vehicles. As the running part of the suburban vehicles, the bogie has a decisive role in the stability and safety of the suburban vehicles.Due to the late starting of suburban railways, the bogies used in suburban railways are mainly CRH6 bogies modified from CRH2 EMU bogies in our country. In order to promote the development of suburban railways, this paper combined the characteristics of the suburban railways and the advantages of the inner axle box bogies to design and study the dynamic performance of the inner axle box non-powered bogie, which is suitable for 160km/h suburban vehicles. The mainly content of this study is as follows:1.Studied the structural characteristics of non-powered bogies with inboard bearing and suburban vehicles around the world, and determined the design of non-powered inner-axle box bogies for 160km/h suburban vehicles.Design the structure of wheelset, bogie frame, axle box, primary suspension device, secondary suspension device and basic braking device, carried out a overall design model of the bogie;2.In accordance with the principle of vehicle system dynamics modeling, established a suburban vehicle dynamics model equipped with an non-powered inner axle box bogie.A two-dimensional mechanical model of the vehicle system was established to perform force analysis and motion analysis of the vehicle system. The vertical and lateral motion equations of the car body, frame and wheelset were established;3.Based on the vehicle system dynamics model with the original parameters, according to the principle of the single variable method, the influence of the suspension on the dynamic performance index was studied, and the primary and secondary suspension parameters of the vehicle model were optimized one by one.A combination of suspension parameters which is suitable for the non-powered inner axle box bogie of 160km/h suburban vehicles was obtained.4.Using the optimized suspension parameters to evaluate the vehicle system’s smooth running performance, curve passing performance, and running stability performance,The results of which proved that suburban vehicles equipped with inner non-powered axle box bogies have a good dynamic performance.
