The Study On The Configuration Patterns Of Herbaceous Plants In The Rain Gardens In Xi’an Area

With the rapid growth of the sponge city,rain gardens are widely used in the construction of urban green space as a technical measure of rainwater collection and absorption.Herbaceous plants are an important part of the plants landscape,and also the basis of the ecological and ornamental features of rain gardens.At present,the herbaceous plant landscape of the rain garden has problems such as poor ornamental effect and high configuration similarity,based on the current situation of rain gardens in the Xi’an area,this paper takes herbaceous plants as research objects to configure the plant landscape in order to improve the health and ornamental effects of the herb plants in rain gardens.This paper analyzes the main factors that affect the configuration through field surveys of rain gardens in Xi’an;and the paper studies from the three aspects of plants’ site conditions,application types,and configuration forms to analyze the problems of herbaceous plant configuration at this stage.In order to present good landscape effects,the herbaceous plant configuration is based on site factors such as soil,gradient,and light,and the analytic hierarchy process is used to create a herbaceous species bank suitable for Xi’an.Based on these,following the guidance of configuration principles,this paper proposes a herbaceous plants configuration pattern under different spatial structures,the ornamental characteristics and functional types,and finally applies it in practice.The herbaceous plants configuration pattern effectively solves problems like the scarcity of plant configuration forms and poor plant adaptability,and increase the inimitable symbol and ecological benefits of rainwater garden plant landscape,and can maximize the ecological benefits of rain gardens.This paper based on the investigation of the herbaceous plants species of rain gardens in Xi’an,from the perspectives of ornamental characteristics,ecological characteristics,and plant resistance,the analytic hierarchy process is used to screen 79 herbaceous plants as the reference for the selection of herbaceous plants for rain gardens in Xi’an area.Secondly,the herbaceous configuration pattern is proposed from three aspects of space structure,ornamental characteristics,and function types.Besides,3 planar configuration models,5 facade patterns,3 ornamental characteristics,and 2 function types are summarized.The combination of different patterns can constitute a variety of plant landscape effects.Finally,combined with practical cases,the application of herbaceous plant allocation mode is carried out for different rainwater gardens,and summarized the application methods of these patterns.
