Selection And Configuration Of The Rain Garden Plants In Beijing Area

Rain garden is a kind of rainwater bioretention technology,Rain garden can converge rain around to purify the rainwater through joint action of the rain garden plants,soil and microorganisms,and the rainwater infiltrate into the ground,then it is stored in underground.Also,the rain garden can form a beautiful landscape.Because of its good adaptability,as well as its unique landscape,rain garden is developing rapidly around the world.Where rainwater reuse technology is quite sophisticated,the technology of rain gardens in these countries are also very mature,and the rain gardens is very popular.Although China has a long history of rainwater utilization,the rain garden construction is still in its initial stage,and the theoretical research in the field is relatively weak and unable to serve practice.This paper takes rain garden plants as the study object.Through gathering and checking information on papers,journals,books as well as Project datas,this paper concludes certain theoretical basis.On this basis,the plants of rain garden were screened to enrich the plant species of the rain gardens.With the characteristics of the plants as the screening conditions,the rain garden plants of Beijing were screened,and 62 kinds of plants were screened.Among them,4 kinds of lawn,11 kinds of ornamental grass,13 kinds of flower,6 kinds of shrubs,9 kinds of tree,2 kinds of hygrophyte,9 kinds of emergent aquatic plant,4 kinds of floating plants and submerged macrophytes.Then based on the above results,further screening.The results were obtained:The Beijing area native plants of 8 major categories,42 kinds;The salt tolerant plants of 6 major categories,13 kinds;The rain water purification ability plants of 5 major categories,20 kinds;The anti scour lawns and groundcovers of 3 major categories,5 kinds;The high landscape value of 7 major categories,32 kinds.Combined with the results of the above screening and different types of rain garden form,it is appropriate to discuss the configuration mode of the rainwater garden,in order to provide some valuable reference for the construction of the relevant projects in the Beijing.
