| Urban color refers to the interaction and distribution of color carriers and audiences in urban space.It has dual attributes of material and non-material.As China’s urbanization rate continues to rise,the problem of urban color has become prominent,showing the chaotic phenomenon that cities are losing their own styles.At the same time,the new urbanization ideas promote the change of color planning models,and the change of digital tools is also creating new methods of color planning.Therefore,there is an urgent need for research on urban color.To deal with the multi-scale color planning,this paper establishes a method system based on quantitative evaluation for middle-sized and small cities.On the basis of correlating the urban planning system and the content of color planning,the quantification methods are integrated into the storage,analysis,and expression of color information.It explores a feasible path for urban color planning.Firstly,this paper constructs the method system.It proposes the basic processes and goals for multi-scale color planning,and builds a quantitative evaluation system based on a variety of analytical and evaluation techniques.In general,it can be summarized as "three levels" and "three methods".Three levels refer to the urban color positioning level,the urban color layout level,and the local color guide level.Three methods refer to the quantitative storage method,the quantitative analysis method and the quantitative expression method.Secondly,on the basis of the above method system,the construction of Fengxian’s color database is carried out first.The literature survey methods and the questionnaire survey methods are used to collect the universality data and the color data.Subsequently,the data obtained is thoroughly checked and sorted.Different methods are used for different types of data.The stored data can be divided into text data,picture data,and planning data(CAD data),which are all related to each other.It is worth mentioning that,in terms of color element extraction,the paper innovatively introduces the Python-based program for downloading street view images,the Py Torch-based fully convolutional networks for semantic segmentation and the Matlabbased program for identifying colors in images.Based on these,the paper has completed the collection,identification,recording,translation and statistics of the color information of Fengxian County.Finally,based on the information provided by the database,the three-level color planning practice of Fengxian County is carried out in turn.(1)Fengxian’s urban color positioning.(1)Analyze the impact factors of color in terms of the macroscopic natural environment,artificial environment and cultural environment one by one.(2)Carry out the multi-factor comprehensive analysis based on the analytic hierarchy process.As the result,the macroscopic positioning of Fengxian’s urban color can be determined(determining the urban color theme and the macroscopic color spectrum).(2)Fengxian’s urban color layout.(1)Based on spatial sensitivity analysis,find areas with high effectiveness from color control.And then derive the classification of urban color control.(2)Divide urban color style areas based on the existing urban zoning methods.Subsequently,collaborate it with the classification of urban color control to determine the urban color layout(including three elements: points,lines,and areas).(3)Fully consider the urban color theme,the macroscopic color spectrum and the specific situation of each color zone to determine the mesoscopic color spectrum for each color zone.(3)Fengxian’s microscopic color guidance.(1)Classify the buildings to be optimized for color in the target area based on the P.Moon and D.E.Spencer’s color harmony theory and several attributes of these buildings.(2)Use semantic analysis to ask the public for their suggestions about these buildings.Then,fully combined these suggestions with the mesoscopic color spectrum to determine the color guideline of the buildings to be optimized.In summary,the paper aims to explore new methods of urban color planning by combining the basic principles of urban planning and urban design with mathematical methods and computer programming languages.The analysis of the method system and the practice process,and the summary of its advantages and limitations,can provide a direction for the development of urban color planning.This paper contains about 85,000 Chinese characters,86 diagrams and 53 charts. |
