Wujiang River is not only the largest river in Guizhou Province,but also the largest tributary on the South Bank of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.It has always been one of the important water channels in Guizhou and Chongqing.With abundant flow,stable flow pattern and rich mineral resources in the basin,Wujiang River is worthy of the name of "golden waterway",which plays an important role in promoting the economic and social development of the basin.In order to develop and utilize the hydropower resources and water transportation resources of Wujiang River,12 hydropower stations are planned along the river,and 11 hydropower stations have been built.Among them,Goupitan,Silin and Shatuo hydropower stations in Guizhou Province and Pengshui and Yinpan hubs in Chongqing are equipped with navigation facilities,which can navigable 500 ton ships and open the channel from Wujiangdu to Yinpan.Benefited from the impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir a rea,Baima Hekou section has reached the standard of class III waterway,and can navigable 1000 ton ships all year round.However,the Yinpan Baima section has become the last bottleneck for the comprehensive resumption of the Wuj iang River due to the poor navigation conditions due to the more dangerous beaches.In order to realize the comprehensive navigation of Wujiang River,it is imperative to build the most downstream level of Baima navigation armature.The purpose of this paper is to determine the construction scale of Baima navigation and hydropower project by forecasting the freight volume of Wujiang and Baima sections and analyzing the representative ship types of Wujiang River in the future.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows1.With the further implementation of the Yangtze River economic belt and the western development strategy in the new era,the economic and social development of Chongqing and Guizhou will get rapid development.The freight demand of Wujiang River water transport will continue to maintain the growth t rend.Before the completion of Baima junction,due to the poor navigation conditions of Yinpan Baima section,the connection between upstream and downstream was not smooth,and the water transportation development of Wujiang River was limited,and a large part of water transportation demand was transferred to railway or highway.After the completion of Baima junction,the Wujiang River will be connected from Wujiangdu to Fuling estuary,and the freight demand of Wujiang River will be effectively released.I t is estimated that in 2025,2035 and 2050,the freight demand of Wujiang will reach 14 million tons,24 million tons and 53 million tons respectively,and the freight demand of Baima section will reach 1.9 million tons,5 million tons and 16 million tons respectively.2.With the development of Wujiang River water transportation,the ships passing through Wujiang River are becoming large-scale and standardized.According to the relevant national standards,combined with the development trend of trunk and branch direct transportation,according to the calculation of combined traffic volume of 500 ton,1000 ton and 1000 ton ship types of Wujiang River tributary and 1000 ton class of Yangtze River main stream through Baima junction,it is recommended to list the main dimension system of Inland River lock transport ships-Part 1: Yangtze River System(GB)The four ship types of cz-h5,cz-h7,cz-h10 and cg-h1 in 38030.1-2019)will be the representative ship types of Wujiang in the future.3.According to the calculation results of one-way annual freight volume of Wujiang River lock representative ship types in different combinations,combined with the development trend of trunk and branch direct access and the requirements of controlling construction cost,it is recommended to adopt 190 m × 23 m × 4.7m(length ×width × threshold water depth)for Baima junction shiplock,and the layout route of second-line shiplock is reserved.
