Liang Sicheng once said,"A city of the old eastern country,in architecture,if completely lost their artistic characteristics,in terms of cultural performance and view is very painful."Because this fact clearly represents the decline of our culture,as far as the phenomenon of extinction."Now the country began to increase the emphasis on rural construction,the deployment of rural revitalization strategy has made the rural landscape of the rectification has become a hot topic,beautiful villages,characteristic towns rise one by one,the state continues to strengthen the promotion of improving the material and spiritual quality of life in rural areas.And the architectural transformation is an important part of rural construction,and the villagers’ life,rural economic development and cultural heritage have a vital relationship,while the traditional ancient architecture is the ancient ancestors left us a huge wealth,representing a period of cultural characteristics.Xiangxi old cave Miaozhai as a very Miao historical culture and characteristics,the original style of the well-preserved ancient village,now with more and more people yearning for the city’s material life,the pursuit of the city brought about by the development and high efficiency,the old cave Miaozhai gradually went down.This paper mainly explores the ways and strategies of its transformation from the traditional old building complex of The Old Cave Miaozhai in Xiangxi,so that it can play a role in the local cultural heritage,exist in the way that modern people accept and like,and also explore more possibilities for the development of local industries and provide some help.Old Cave Miaozhai as an ancient village has a long history,in the long civilization has produced a unique wind of witchcraft and exquisite craft art,unique regional culture makes the village building layout is different,with a concentrated regional characteristics of the terroir-shaped system,architectural decoration exquisite.However,with the passage of time,there are many problems such as serious damage to building structure,lack of basic facilities,poor use of traditional space layout,poor cultural experience and so on.This paper makes a study on the solution strategy of these problems,and the whole strategy conforms to the principle of ensuring the continuation of the traditional style,integrating the architectural group with the natural environment,strengthening the building group as a whole,integrating the regional culture and scientific transformation into one,and creating a unique atmosphere of the old hole.At the same time,focus on the old hole Miaozhai representative space nodes for "redesign",while strengthening the local architectural language,cultural elements of the extraction so that the old cave Miaozhai can continue in the traditional pattern at the same time reproduce the modern architectural community space,to meet the needs of modern people on the village old architectural scenic area elements,and strive to build a cultural heritage,village development in one of the old cave Miaozhai building complex.
