| The operation line is the most important workplace for pipe laying vessels during project implementation,and the excellent degree of welding equipment,tensioner,stinger and other important equipment on the line directly determines the laying work capacity and efficiency.Therefore,for a pipe laying vessel worth hundreds of millions of RMB Yuan or more,how to optimize the main equipment of its operation line with reasonable input,maximize its capacity and efficiency,is the subject that the shipowner most concerned about and most worthy of study.With existing equipment for operation line in the ‘ZHONG YOU HAI 101’ pipe laying vessel,this thesis takes the upgrading existing equipment as the first choice and purchasing new equipment as a backup plan.By use of the method of comparative analysis,the work time and pipe laying capacity of the main equipment was calculated,including centralizer,welding equipment,tensioner,stringer and other important equipment in the whole operation process.In this way,the longest time work station and corresponding equipment was found,the equipment that restricted the pipe diameter and pipe depth of the pipe laying operation was found,and the optimization of the three critical equipment including welding equipment,the tensioner and the stringer was determined.Compared with the welding equipment of the same type of pipe laying vessel,full automation welding equipment upgrading scheme to improve welding efficiency was formed.Meanwhile,this thesis studies the scheme of improving the pipe diameter of the existing tensioner,applying the mathematical calculation to check the tension of the optimized tensioner,establish optimized tensioner model with ANSYS for stress and strength verification,therefore,the tensioner reconstruction scheme of the ‘ZHONG YOU HAI 101’ pipe laying vessel.Moreover,a set of ternary stingers with a length of 44.5 meters was obtained by updating the tensioner design of the ‘ZHONG YOU HAI 101’ pipe laying vessel.Pipeline OFFPIPE static analysis,hydrodynamic model and ABAQUS strength analysis are performed on the ternary stinger.The maximum stress satisfies the requirements of the standard allowable stress.Finally,it has been proved by practice that the maximum pipeline outer diameter(including cement layer)of the ‘ZHONG YOU HAI 101’ pipe laying vessel expanded from the factory 36 inches to 48 inches,the average daily level of the 32-inch pipeline increased from 354 meters to 451 meters,and the maximum operation water depth increased from 40 meters to 50 meters.It has comprehensively improved the laying capacity and efficiency of the ‘ZHONG YOU HAI 101’ pipe laying vessel,and accumulated valuable experience for the configuration and transformation of the same type of pipe laying vessel operation line in the future. |
