Nowadays,China’s infrastructure construction has shown a large-scale and complicated development trend.In order to ensure that the building facilities can be used normally,the project need to be completed on schedule.It is particularly important to manage the construction progress reasonably.However,traditional schedule management methods can not combine geographic information and building detail information.During the loading of 3D data,there will be performance problems on the PC and mobile terminals.These indicate that current schedule management has some limitations.There are technical challenges in solving the above problems.First,GIS data have many formats,BIM data corresponds to the real components in the building,which contains detailed attribute information.Simple information extraction and data segmentation will cause the loss of attribute information or spatial location errors.Therefore,the data must be split and combined according to complex situations during the integration process.Second,the building model automatic generation method relies on fewer conditions and constraints,and the generated models have problems of structural distortion and abnormal attributes,which leads to the need for manual correction of the automatically generated model in actual applications.Third,because of the browser’s the limitation of computing power,a large amount of 3D data needs to be lightweight before rendering on the browser.This will cause problems such as excessive compression of data and confusion of attribute information.In response to the above problems,this paper constructs an information integration model to integrate BIM and GIS data.Then proposes a building model generation method based on planning models and time series.Finally,it improves the large-scale data rendering method to dynamically render the 3D model.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)Propose the framework of the construction progress management system based on BIM+GISThis paper proposes a framework for construction progress management system based on BIM+GIS.The framework is divided into data layer,application layer and presentation layer.The data layer is used to store GIS and BIM data and related information.The application layer implements BIM+GIS data integration models,dynamic generation of BIM models based on time series and planning models,and lightweight visualization of large-scale 3D data.The presentation layer is used to display the 3D model and the progress analysis results through a Web browser to realize data interaction and operation interaction.(2)Construction of BIM+GIS data integration modelThis article analyzes and builds a BIM+GIS data integration model,extracts geometric informationfrom from BIM data,abstracts semantic information,strengthens semantic information,and reconstructs geometry.Convert BIM data to CityGML format data and map information about the converted data.The integrated data is then processed using an efficient organization method to provide a basis for subsequent rendering.(3)Dynamic generation method of building model based on time seriesThis paper proposes a method for dynamically generating a BIM model based on a time series.Combining the project planning model and construction progress information.The BIM model is dynamically created by cutting,rotating,etc.the planning model.(4)Lightweight visualization method for 3D dataThis paper proposes an algorithm for massive data to lightweight three-dimensional data.At the same time,it uses a threshold-based cropping method and an efficient data scheduling strategy,as well as constructs an error function and a hierarchical adaptive model.It only loads data within the range of the viewpoint and establish a cache queue with priority to visualize massive 3D data.Based on the above methods,we design and implement a construction progress management prototype system based on BIM+GIS.The overall architecture of the prototype system,the detailed design of the system and the system implementation process are described.The effectiveness of the method is verified by comparing and analyzing with other methods.
