With the increasing competition in the market,credit sales have become the means of competition for most enterprises.Although credit sales can increase market share and enterprise profits,it inevitably brings a lot of accounts receivable.If accounts receivable is poorly managed,it is easy to cause bad debt losses,increase the management cost of the enterprise,devour the enterprise profit,and increase the operating risk.Company Y is a small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprise engaged in research and development,production and sales of all kinds of pump products.Since its establishment,the sales volume has been on the rise,and the amount of accounts receivable has also been on the rise.However,the collection efficiency of accounts receivable is low,and the capital circulation is slow.In recent years,the rapid growth of Y Company’s accounts receivable scale has become a major obstacle to the good development of the company.Therefore,how to strengthen the management of accounts receivable has become an important problem to be solved urgently for Y Company.This paper takes Y Company’s accounts receivable management as the research object,and uses the field research method,questionnaire survey method,data analysis method and case analysis method to explain the current situation of Y Company’s accounts receivable management in detail,By comparing the evaluation indexes of Company Y’s accounts receivable quality from 2016 to 2019,it is found that the quality of Company Y’s accounts receivable is poor through its own vertical comparison and horizontal comparison with other enterprise in the same industry.Then it points out in detail the problems of Y Company in accounts receivable management,such as unscientific prevention in advance,lack of control in the event,lack of management after the event,etc.In view of the problems in Y Company’s accounts receivable management,it carefully analyzes the causes of the problems from the internal environment and external environment.According to these problems,based on the credit management of accounts receivable and the whole process management theory,this paper puts forward the "1+1+3" management optimization scheme from the three levels of thought,action and system guarantee,That is to enhance the importance of management and staff awareness of accounts receivable management,set up a special group of accounts receivable management,improve the credit system in advance,at the source of the containment of accounts receivable risk;Improve the in-process dynamic control system,improve the daily risk early warning of accounts receivable;We will improve the after-sale collection system and reduce the risk of bad debts.Under the circumstance that credit sale is inevitable,Y Company can effectively improve the disorganized and inefficient management in the past through optimization scheme,so as to reduce the company’s bad debt loss,accelerate the capital circulation of the company and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the company.I hope that through the analysis of this paper,it can provide valuable reference and suggestions for Y Company’s accounts receivable management,and at the same time,it can provide reference for small and medium-sized manufacturing industries or other enterprises facing similar management problems.
