The Research Of China Car Industry Policy And Efficiency (1978-2001)

After the reform and opening up,China’s car industry ushered in the second "entrepreneurial period",after more than 40 years of development,China’s car industry has made great achievements,but more is the quantity of development,the qualitative development is relatively slow.This has a great relationship with the industrial structure,industrial layout and industrial technology formed in China’s car industry at the end of last century.The original intention of a series of industrial policies formulated in this period is to enhance the competitiveness of China’s car industry and promote economic development.From the results,based on the analysis of the competitiveness of China’s car industry based on various indicators,it is found that the development of China’s car industry in the first 20 years is not smooth,and the industrial policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of the industry is ineffective as a whole.During this period,due to the defects of three level management mode,technical introduction and the structural conflict of technology innovation and market mechanism is difficult to effectively play a role,at the same time develop resistance effect of these policy affect the industry,in our country for a long time not under rational appraisal mechanism and incentive mechanism cannot effectively solve all the time,eventually led to the failure of the nineties car industrial policy as a whole.
