In recent years,with the development of the scale,more and more high requirements have been put forward for the safe operation of power system.Due to the advantages of compact structure,small floor space and high reliability,GIS is widely used in power systems of various voltage levels.Considering that the insulation defects of GIS equipment may directly affect the system security,it is particularly important to master the internal insulation defects of GIS equipment,especially to judge the insulation deterioration degree by monitoring the partial discharge phenomenon and find the equipment fault in time.Firstly,based on the comparison of various pd monitoring principles and methods,this paper analyzes the common causes,performance characteristics and harms of GIS PD,and concludes the feasibility of UHF detection method in GIS PD monitoring.Secondly,the equivalent circuit of PARTIAL discharge in GIS and the theory of UHF propagation characteristics are studied and analyzed in detail.The hardware and software of a certain UHF GIS station on-line monitoring system are designed and explained,and the signals are successfully captured by the system through field simulated discharge test and the discharge spectrum is obtained.Then it introduces some necessary tests of the in-line monitoring system before delivery and field installation.Finally,the project site installation configuration was introduced,and the field test,compared with ultra-high frequency portable detector to detect data illustrate the validity and reliability of the data acquisition system,and further through the system detects discharge right judgment whether partial discharge equipment insulation fault has occurred.Some problems in the field operation of the system are summarized.This paper studies the reliability of GIS equipment operation,which has the engineering guiding significance for the system to realize the state monitoring and master the insulation condition of equipment.
