With the generalization of the gradual increase in the aging population.China has entered an aging country,and aging population will become an important social problem in China in the coming decades,and various measures need to be taken to be resolved urgently.In this article,we conducted a theoretical discussion on the landscape planning and design of the elderly care community.Through a detailed analysis of the physical.psychological,behavioral characteristics and needs of the elderly,we explored two cases at home and abroad,the Zonnehuis nursing home project and the Taikang elderly care community.Planning and designing from the aspects of convalescent garden,sports and fitness,rest and relaxation,production of Yile,humanistic care,etc.Finally,the design and practice are carried out based on the example of the elderly community in Shishi City,Fujian Province,and the landscape,using the identifiable,functional principles and design theory summarized in the landscape The design,with the theme of "home",according to the physical and psychological needs of the elderly,create a unique garden space atmosphere.Residential landscape environment is the basic guarantee of people’ s life and also the core problem to be solved in the aging society.To further improve the living environment of the elderly,it is necessary to learn from the construction experience of foreign nursing homes and nursing communities,form a set of planning concepts of nursing communities with Chinese characteristics,and build Chinese nursing commnities.The planning and design of the community should combine the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly to meet their needs for rest,communication and sports.The activity space of the elderly should avoid interference with the activity space of other age groups and coordinate the relationship between them.
