Risk Management In Road Freight Transport Smalland Medium Enterprises

Risk management is a concept treated by many researchers in different parts of the world but only few of them treated it in detail when it comes to the road freight transport field.The risks that a road freight transport SME might face are varied and can affect the activity of the company.The purpose of the study is to explain the risk management approach and create a risk manager profession on its own,the paper also aims to set up a risk management policy in order to provide practitioners with adaptable solutions and practical risk mapping to identify and prevent the danger during the different operations of the activity.The study was guided by 132 employees in a Moroccan road freight transport SME;the results of the offline questionnaires were also a driving factor to know the major risks in the field and a tool to formalize the risk management policy.
