As the density of the urban road network increases,the number of short-distance intersections is increasing,which has become a bottleneck for urban traffic.Compared with ordinary intersections,the distance between short-intersection intersections is smaller,and the space provided for vehicles to buffer and flow is limited.The intertwining and conflicting phenomena of various traffic flows are more obvious.There are queuing up,motor vehicles affecting each other,Problems such as poor overall reliability have restricted the traffic capacity of the road network.The existence of short-distance intersections is affected by objective conditions,and it is a feasible and effective method to optimize the allocation of existing time and space resources before the overall reconstruction and expansion of them is not possible.Compared with the optimization of temporal and spatial resources at intersections,there are fewer studies on short-intersection intersections.The existing studies are mainly reflected in capacity analysis and signal control plan optimization,and there are still certain limitations.First,the judgments of short-distance intersections mostly rely on qualitative analysis,without considering the impact of traffic flow and traffic behavior on the intersection;second,there is a lack of systematic optimization of time and space resources as a whole.For this reason,this article mainly carried out the following researches:First,on the basis of analyzing the types of short-distance intersections and existing problems,considering the behavior characteristics of vehicles such as lane changing and decelerating and stopping,the judgment formula for the minimum distance of short-distance intersections is given;based on the analysis of traffic flow characteristics,further analysis is made.The short-distance intersections are subdivided,and two different time-space resource allocation strategies are given for coordinated design and overall design.Secondly,in terms of space resource optimization,the focus is on the traffic flow organization of the middle section of the two intersections,and the coordination of different types of intersections and the overall spatial layout plan are given in turn;again,in terms of time resource optimization,short spacing is designed Phase sequence and phase design scheme for intersections;for coordinated intersections,a timing optimization model that minimizes delays and parking times is established,and the difference algorithm is used to solve them;for the overall control of intersections,the timing method is explained.Finally,in order to verify the effectiveness of the method given in this article,a value analysis method was selected to evaluate the overall benefits of short-distance intersections;two short-distance intersections in Taiyuan were selected,and based on the analysis of existing problems,the allocation of time and space resources was optimized;The simulation analysis results show that the optimized design scheme has improved to varying degrees in terms of delay,queue length,and number of stops,and the total value has been increased.Based on the traffic flow and behavior characteristics of short-distance intersections,this paper gives the calculation formula for judging the intersection spacing,which is a supplement to the existing theoretical research.At the same time,the short-distance intersections are further subdivided,and two different time-space resource allocation strategies of coordinated design and overall design are given,which can obtain a more effective allocation plan,which has good practical significance.
