| The traditional tools of cognitive screening are mostly used in such medical scenarios such as clinical diagnosis. The elderly and their families have insufficient knowledge of the disease and lack the motivation to actively conduct cognitive screening. In addition, the related shortage of professional medical resources and many other factors lead to the high leakage rate of cognitive diseases. The development of technologies such as mobile devices provides new methods for the cognitive health management of the elderly and the diagnosis of related diseases. Some electronic screening systems also try to use gamification elements to enhance the motivation of the elderly to participate, but due to the lack of designer intervention, there are also obvious deficiencies in user experience. In response to the above situation, this article has studied a series of literature research about cognitive disease and serious game design.Firstly, through the case analysis of the existing electronic cognitive screening methods,it points out the problems of the existing screening methods and the meaning of serious game intervention. Then combined with the corresponding design theory of serious games, the case of serious games used for the cognitive health of the elderly is analyzed in terms of functional goals, content composition, interactive technology and effectiveness evaluation. At the same time,it uses the methods of user research to explore the motives of participation of the elderly, and explore the needs and concerns of users for serious games of cognitive screening.Subsequently, the article constructs a user model for cognitive screening of serious game products, proposes product goals that enhance the reach between users and products, and refines specific methods. The design strategy part revolves around the five elements of user experience and discusses in detail from the four dimensions of business model, content planning, interaction and experience, and visual performance. Finally, guided by strategy, the game theme, gameplay, and the content framework of cognitive screening are organically integrated, and the design plan is in-depth detailed. This paper produced a cognitive screening game for elderly, including the design of game systems based on We Chat and the design of game systems applied to community service organizations. For the elderly with different characteristics,it is hoped that on the basis of cognitive evaluation methods, through more accessible game participation channels and more situational and interesting game experience,to improve their participation motivation and entertainment experience. |
