A Study On The Design Of Activity Centre For The Elderly Based On The Idea Of Age Adaptation

Today,the world is aging in general.Because of the progress of society,people’s living standards and health have been improved and their age has been generally aging.The demand for older people will change accordingly,which will require the construction of aging products and venues for aging activities to be on the agenda.As an important part of the old-age building security system,the activity center plays an important role in social function.It is also an important task for designers to build and improve the old-age service system.This paper studies the design methods and principles of aging design from the perspective of aging,and studies the present situation of aging at home and abroad in the first chapter,points out the seriousness of the situation of rapid development in China’s aging society,and the urgency of designing the concept of aging in space.The second chapter expounds the conception of aging suitable from three aspects: origin,advantage and development,and summarizes the design thought of aging suitable design “the old people as the center”.Chapter three summarizes the important role played by the center in social function.Based on the background of the rapid development of the aged society in China,this paper expounds the existing deficiencies of the activity center for the aged,and points out the necessity of applying the idea of aging appropriate in the space design of the activity center.The internal factors and social factors affecting the psychology of the elderly are also discussed.Chapter four,based on the design principle of suitable aging design,expounds the concrete application of the idea of aging in space,which provides the theoretical basis for the design of the center for later aged activities.Chapter 5 studies the design practice of Shijiazhuang Sunset Elderly Center,which begins with the regional space and functional division of the activity center for the elderly,unify the form and function of the activity center,and explore the design path and scheme which meet the aging requirements,so as to provide guidance and help to relevant design work.
