Permanent magnet Synchronous machine(PMSM)is widely used in new energy vehicles,aerospace,ship electric propulsion,wind power generation and other fields because of its simple structure,low operating loss,high safety,convenient control and other advantages.The traditional motor test needs to build the corresponding test platform according to the parameters of the motor,the motor test under different working conditions needs to match different types of mechanical loads,and the motor test needs to be equipped with high-power DC power supply,the test process is cumbersome,and the automatic test cannot be realized,and the cost of manpower and money is huge.The motor simulator runs the virtual motor in the real-time simulation equipment to simulate the output characteristics of the ports of the real motor in different working states,and is not limited by the traditional measurement and control machine’s long test cycle,large space occupation,difficulty in achieving fault testing and other problems,so as to conduct comprehensive test on the motor controller.In this paper,a permanent magnet synchronous motor simulator is designed,and the relevant work is as follows:First,a nonlinear lookup table model of PMSM with flux flux as state quantity is proposed in this paper.The motor model has high fidelity and takes into account such nonlinear motor characteristics as PMSM magnetic saturation,space harmonics and cross coupling.The key of the permanent magnet synchronous motor nonlinear model parameters obtained by finite element simulation calculation,magnetic circuit saturation,cross saturation,cross coupling,nonlinear data offline,the cogging torque of 3 d look-up table model,the nonlinear characteristics of the motor through the inductive motor model,flux linkage and torque with the current and the nonlinear relation of rotor position.Secondly,the current tracking control method of PMSM simulator is presented.The improved internal model controller can control the power device to accurately track the instruction current and ensure the speed and accuracy of the current tracking of the motor simulator.The Lomborg torque estimator is designed to generate high frequency torque ripple to counteract torque fluctuations.Thirdly,the structure design and operation principle of permanent magnet synchronous motor simulator are introduced,and the influence of filtering inductance on the operation of motor simulator and inductance selection are analyzed.The offline simulation model of PMSM simulator was built in Matlab/Simulink,and two typical motor conditions of no-load starting and sudden load loading were verified.The simulation results verified the accuracy of the motor simulator and the control strategy of current tracking.Fourthly,the hardware-in-the-loop experiment system of PMSM is built according to the off-line simulation model.Run the complex electrical model in the real-time simulation equipment Typhoon,and import the control algorithm of the simulation side into the corresponding control board card through automatic generation of codes.The transient and steady-state experiment results show that the PMSM simulator can accurately simulate the output characteristics of PMSM port in real time.
