In the product life cycle,companies must obtain the customer requirement information timely,map it to corresponding engineering characteristics or design parameters,so as to realize the requirement-driven product variation design or redesign.Therefore,the analysis of customer requirement changes and the identification of engineering characteristics of related products are of great significance for prolonging the service life and redesign of products.In order to quickly respond to changing customer requirement and promote product evolution,an optimization method of product engineering characteristics considering customer sensitive requirements is proposed in this paper.The main research contents are as follows.(1)Research on the identification of sensitive requirements and the mechanism of influencing factors.The influencing factors of customer requirement are summarized and classified,and a method of identifying sensitive requirement under the influence of multiple exogenous factors is proposed.Firstly,based on the grounded theory,specific factors affecting customer requirement changes are obtained,three-level coding are conducted,conceptual categories and main categories are summarized,correlations and influencing paths among various factors are explored,and build a theoretical model.Then,the scale was preset,and the questionnaire was carried out after reliability and validity analysis and scale modification to obtain sample data.Finally,based on the structural equation model(SEM),the degree of influence of each influencing factor on the change of customer requirement is determined.The larger the coefficient of the variable is,the higher the degree of influence is.The smaller the coefficient is,the lower the degree of influence is.Compare the load of factors in the model to identify customers’ sensitive requirements.(2)Product extendable engineering characteristics identification driven by sensitive requirements.Considering the influence of customer requirement sensitivity on product engineering characteristics,a sensitive requirement-driven product extendable engineering characteristic identification method is proposed to obtain the ranking of engineering characteristics related to changes in customer requirements,and determine the engineering characteristics that are more affected by sensitive requirements.Orthogonal Experimental Design(OED)is used to determine the contribution of product engineering characteristics to the identified sensitive requirements.Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)is used to solve the relative weight of product engineering characteristics on sensitive requirement.The sensitivity coefficient of product engineering characteristics related to customer sensitive requirement is defined,and then the engineering characteristics that are easy to change under the influence of sensitive requirement are identified.(3)Optimization of product extendable engineering characteristics based on house of quality.Considering the lack of flexibility in the engineering characteristics of existing products,the identified extendable engineering characteristics were optimized and the flexible design range of the corresponding extendable engineering characteristics was solved.Firstly,the sensitive requirement is classified.Based on the time series,the transfer process of customer requirement state in the product upgrading process is statistically analyzed,and the fluctuation diagram of customer requirement state is drawn to analyze the fluctuation range of sensitive requirement.Then,House of Quality(HOQ)is applied to map the fluctuation range of sensitive requirement to engineering characteristics.Based on the known correlation between sensitive requirement and extendable engineering characteristics,independent point matching method is applied to solve the volatility of extendable engineering characteristics.Finally,under the constraint of the value range of product engineering characteristics,the current value and volatility of extendable engineering characteristics are combined to calculate the fluctuation range of extendable engineering characteristics,and realize the optimization of extendable engineering characteristics.(4)This paper takes a series of smart phones as a case to conduct a case study on the optimization of extendable engineering characteristics driven by sensitive requirements.Firstly,the sensitive requirements of mobile phone requirement are identified,and then the extendable engineering characteristics of mobile phone are identified based on this.Finally,the extendable engineering characteristics of mobile phone are optimized,and the solved flexible design range can respond to the change of customer requirement in the future.The above research has certain theoretical and practical significance for product engineering characteristic optimization under the influence of sensitive requirements.It can be applied to the initial design process of products to reasonably optimize the identified extendable engineering characteristics to cope with the changes in customer requirements,which is beneficial to companies to improve their competitive advantages,improve product performance,promote product evolution and extend the service life of products.The paper has 23 pictures,22 tables and 109
