| The intelligent design and manufacture of construction machinery has gradually become the key to meeting the needs of engineering construction in our country.Painting,as one of the four major processes of manufacturing construction machinery,plays an important role in conveying visual information and spreading brand culture.However,the painting design mainly relies on the designer’s intuition and experience,and has not formed an effective intelligent design method.Interactive Evolutionary Design(IED),as an intelligent design method that utilizes human evaluation as individual fitness to guide the evolution of population,has significant advantages in solving the decision problems of the implicit target related to human intuition and preferences.Thus,IED has been applied in a variety of design scenarios,and it will be an effective way to solve the lack of intelligence in painting design.However,due to the limited cognitive ability,users will carry different cognitive loads at different stages of evolutionary design,and the overloaded cognitive load will reduce the efficiency of IED.Therefore,how to effectively reduce the cognitive load of evolutionary design is a key issue.The thesis conducts research from three parts of theory,method and practice.At the part of theoretical research,based on cognitive load theory,this thesis analyzed and elaborated the cognitive process of users in IED.First,we deconstructed and analyzed the cognitive activities of users at different stages of evolution design.We summarized the cognitive tasks and the specific types of cognitive load in each stage.Then,combined with the cognitive load effects,the thesis proposed the corresponding improvement strategies to reduce cognitive load,and built an evaluation method combined with the cognitive load measurement.Finally,we summarized and proposed an interactive evolutionary design procedure based on cognitive load theory.At the part of methodology research,two specific methods were proposed based on the improvement strategies.The first method is an interactive evolutionary design method based on germane cognitive load(Interactive Evolutionary Design based on germane cognitive load,GCL-IED).This method builds an association mapping from the design goal to the individual characteristic,and combines the adaptive presentation of reference cases to improve the efficiency of association cognition in the early stage of evolution design.The second method is an interactive evolutionary design method based on extraneous cognitive load(Interactive Evolutionary Design based on extraneous cognitive load,ECL-IED).This method utilizes an alternation ranking method to improve the evaluation mechanism.To accurately obtain users’ preferences,the method transforms the individual ranking into fuzzy fitness based on the cognitive characteristics of users and the time used to evaluate the individual.At the part of design practice,this thesis chose the painting design of the single drum vibratory roller as a practical object.Through the analysis of existing cases,the painting characteristics were sorted and summarized,and the chromosome coding rules were formulated.Based on the two proposed methods,the Swift coding language is used to develop the evolutionary design system for roller painting on the iOS mobile terminal.The effectiveness in reducing cognitive load and improving cognitive efficiency was verified by comparative experiments.The thesis has 49 pictures,11 tables,and 86 references. |
