| On June 1,2020,the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council issued the overall plan for Hainan free trade port construction,which made it clear that China would build a new open economic highland focusing on free trade and investment freedom.Sanya International Airport is located in Sanya City,Hainan Province.With the opportunity of vigorously promoting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port,and relying on its home advantage,it will also usher in a new historic development opportunity.There will be challenges when there are opportunities.This paper first expounds the development status of Sanya International Airport,analyzes the external macro environment of the airport by PEST analysis method,and analyzes the external competitive environment faced by the airport by Porter’s "Five Forces" model.Secondly,the current internal environment of the airport is deeply analyzed from the aspects of production and operation,management ability,human resources and financial status.The opportunities,threats,advantages and disadvantages faced by the airport in the development process are comprehensively analyzed by SWOT analysis.The competitive strategy of Sanya International Airport is determined by matrix matching,and seven safeguard measures are put forward.First,make full use of special policies to compete for route resources;The second is to use the tax exemption and bonded policy on outlying islands to improve the level of non-aviation business;The third is to optimize the organizational structure to prevent system risks;The fourth is to build a reasonable human resource management system and reserve international talents;The fifth is to strengthen the construction of smart airports and improve the airport flight support capacity and passenger service level;Sixth,strengthen airport brand building and promote the integration of aviation tourism industry;Seventh,we should solve the debt crisis and go into battle lightly.Through these measures,Sanya International Airport will be built into a beautiful business card of Hainan Province. |
