Research On Working Capital Management Of Great Wall Motor Company Limited Based On Value Chain

With the improvement of economic level and the acceleration of globalization,the environment of enterprises is constantly changing,and the competitive pressure is gradually increasing.Different from the past,the scope of competition among enterprises gradually extends from the internal activities of enterprises to the upstream and downstream links,and from the competition among independent business entities to the competition of value chain.The working capital management is the core content of the daily production and operation activities of enterprises,which is very important to the development of enterprises.The traditional working capital management is limited to the optimization of a single project,which limits the development of the enterprise.More and more scholars pay attention to the working capital research from the overall level of the enterprise,and the value chain theory is gradually applied to the working capital management.Taking GWN as the research object,this paper studies its working capital management from the perspective of value chain.Firstly,it introduces the research background and significance of the article,combs some literature,and expounds the research content and methods.Secondly,it introduces the working capital management,value chain and other concepts,explains the theory of working capital management based on value chain.Thirdly,it explains the basic situation and working capital management status of GWN.This paper analyzes the whole value chain and the business process of each link,and analyze the management status of each link of working capital.Then,select the characteristic index of the value chain,use the entropy method to establish the evaluation system of GWN’s working capital management based on the value chain,and draw the conclusion that GWN has some problems,such as the low proportion of centralized procurement,production planning needs to be strengthened.Based on this,this paper proposes to strengthen the centralized procurement,strictly control the production plan and so on,and proposes to some guarantee suggestions.
