Study On The Influence Of Indoor Physical Environment Parameters On Employee Satisfaction And Work Efficiency

With the rapid development of the global economy,the human life and work pace is getting faster,and work pressure is increasing day by day.Staying up late at night to do extra work has become the norm in people’s daily lives.How to improve work efficiency and reduce work pressure is a problem that needs to be solved urgently.Studies have shown that indoor environmental quality(IEQ)has a greater impact on personnel work efficiency.Therefore,improving IEQ is undoubtedly one of the important ways to improve work efficiency.Especially with the frequent occurrence of Sick Building Syndrome,people have gradually realized the importance of IEQ to human health and work efficiency.But for different types of work,whether there are differences in the effects of indoor physical environment parameters on their work efficiency,and whether indoor environmental satisfaction is completely positively related to work efficiency.In response to the above problems,this paper conducts research from both subjective and objective aspects through five cognitive ability test items,aiming to explore the influence of indoor physical environment parameters on employee satisfaction and work efficiency.Based on the literature research on current work efficiency at home and abroad,this paper finds that temperature,noise,color temperature,illumination,pollutants and so on all have significant influences on environmental satisfaction and work efficiency,and the influence is significant within a certain range.Which physical parameters are selected is crucial for this study.Before the experiment scheme design,through a nationwide network questionnaire survey and Chongqing,Guangzhou,Beijing and Shenyang field test of four cities by using the experimental method of the subjective and the objective,a detailed analysis of the current situation of the office building indoor environment.In terms of the measured physical environment parameters,the parameters that significantly affect the indoor environment satisfaction of office buildings are temperature and noise,and illumination and indoor pollutants all meet the limits of domestic standards.Therefore,on the basis of noise and temperature,color temperature and fresh air volume were selected as the experimental variables in this experiment,and the level number of each experimental variable was determined by referring to the national standard,and the experimental scheme was designed.In order to carry out the research on the influence of physical environment parameters on the work efficiency of personnel,16 men and 16 women were recruited respectively,and a total of 32 healthy subjects were tested in Chongqing University for a period of 32 days.The experimental method is questionnaire survey + cognitive ability test,in which the questionnaire survey explores the subjective feelings of the human body under different indoor environment conditions from three aspects: physical condition,indoor physical environment state and work efficiency evaluation;based on E-prime software,the cognitive ability test uses 5 different test tasks to count office staff’s work efficiency.There were two rounds of work efficiency test,namely Test 1and Test 2,and all 32 subjects participated in the whole process.Test one mainly explores the influence of temperature and fresh air volume on indoor environmental satisfaction and work efficiency through full factor experiments.Test two mainly explored the influence of temperature,noise,color temperature and fresh air volume on indoor environmental satisfaction and work efficiency through orthogonal design.Based on the experimental data,the influence of the four research variables on indoor environment satisfaction,the interaction of indoor satisfaction,the influence of personnel work efficiency,and the difference of different groups of people on acoustic environment satisfaction and actual work efficiency are obtained.Based on the research results,the significant parameters that affect the indoor environment satisfaction and work efficiency are analyzed,which will play a positive role in guiding the construction of indoor environment parameters of office buildings.
