The huge accumulation of copper tailings not only pollutes the ecological environment,but also causes tailings dam failure,but also increases the economic burden of enterprises.Using copper tailings to prepare non-burning wall material is an effective way to make full use of tailings resources,save energy,and reduce production costs.In this study,the preparation of copper tailings curing agent and the preparation of copper tailings non-burning wall materials were carried out.The ratio of curing agent used in copper tailings non-sintering materials was studied and optimized through orthogonal experiments,and the microscopic properties and curing mechanism of the materials were explored through XRD and SEM.Through single-factor experiments,the effect of curing agent,straw,river sand,and silica fume dosage on the compressive strength,softening coefficient and thermal conductivity of the material is studied,as well as the molding pressure,water-to-material ratio,and temperature and humidity conditions during natural curing.The law of influence of compressive strength.The study determined the best proportion and preparation process of the copper tailings non-burning wall material,and systematically studied the material’s frost resistance,resistance to dry and wet cycles and the material’s sealing performance for heavy metals.Research indicates:(1)The optimal ratio of curing agent is:30%,40%,20%,4%and 6%of vanadium iron slag,slag powder,slaked lime,desulfurized gypsum and limestone powder respectively.The curing mechanism of the curing agent is:the curing agent reacts in the copper tailings to generate Ca6Al2(SO43(OH)1226H2O,Ca4Al2O713H2O,C-S-H,which increases the internal bonding force and compactness of the material,thereby making the copper tailings non-burning wall material has high strength and water resistance.(2)The best proportion of copper tailings non-burning wall material is 20%,2%and 78%of curing agent,silica fume and copper tailings respectively.At this time,the compressive strength and softening coefficient of the material are 18.1MPa and0.68 at 7d,23.2MPa and 0.81 at 28d,and the thermal conductivity is0.9095W/(m·K).(3)The forming pressure,the water-to-material ratio,and the temperature and humidity conditions during natural curing have a significant effect on the compressive strength of the copper tailings non-burning wall material.Considering low energy consumption and low-cost preparation,the best preparation process of the material is:molding pressure 25MPa,water-to-material ratio 0.14,standard maintenance.At this time,the compressive strengths of materials 7d and 28d are 20.1MPa and 28.6 MPa,respectively.(4)The copper tailings non-burning wall material has good frost resistance and resistance to dry-wet cycles.After 25 freeze-thaw cycles or dry-wet cycles,the quality of the material is not significantly lost,the compressive strength increases significantly,and the material is maintained The shorter the age,the greater the increase in compressive strength.The copper tailings non-burning wall material has a significant sealing effect on the heavy metal elements Cd,As,Cu,Zn,and can be used safely...
