Research On The Activation And Utilization Strategy Of Rural Idle Space From The Perspective Of Catalyst

In 2017,the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the general requirements of "prosperous industries,livable ecology,civilized rural customs,effective governance,and prosperous life" for rural development in my country.At the beginning of 2021,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council put forward opinions on comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.However,my country’s rural construction is still facing many difficulties.The outflow of rural population caused by the dual development of urban and rural areas has caused a series of problems.Among them,the problem of a large amount of idle space in the countryside caused by economic,cultural,institutional and other reasons is particularly prominent.Therefore,this article takes rural idle space as the research object and tries to use these idle resources as the "catalyst" of rural development through small-scale intervention.Drive the development of the surrounding area with points and areas.The article uses "catalyst theory" and rural activation theory to carry out related researches on the activation and utilization of rural idle space.The idle space is used as a catalyst carrier,and the “fuzzy area” in the village is activated by implanting catalyst factors.After completing the shaping of the building catalyst,it is supplemented by related activities or events to achieve the purpose of activating rural industries,culture,and communities.At the same time,it is also hoped that it can help my country’s current rural revitalization.After expounding the background,purpose,and significance of the research,and defining the research objects and related concepts,this paper adopts research methods such as literature review,field visits and investigations,questionnaire surveys,and case comparative analysis to analyze the status,types,and types of rural idle spaces.The characteristics,value and existing problems are analyzed.Then the analysis of the "feasibility of using idle space as a catalyst carrier" is carried out,and a strategy of catalytic activation and utilization of rural idle space is proposed based on the four principles of integrity,diversity,gradualism,and sustainability.The activation strategy is elaborated from three levels of idle buildings,idle spaces,and idle landscapes.For the activation and utilization of idle building entities,different response plans are adopted according to the actual situation of the building;the shaping of the idle space starts with the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces,the reorganization of outdoor spaces,and the shaping of the spirit of the place;focusing on the activation and utilization of idle landscapes The composite construction of human landscape and natural landscape.Finally,according to the proposed strategy for the activation and utilization of the idle space,a catalytic design was carried out for Qianyao Village,which is also a research design for the research strategy in order to better confirm the feasibility of the strategy.There is a certain feasibility to use rural idle space as a "catalyst" to activate the village,which can be seen from the current rural practice.Based on these rural practices and combined with the "catalyst theory",this article puts forward its own views on the activation and utilization of rural idle space.This can also be seen as a supplement to the rural catalyst theory.It is also hoped that this article can contribute to the future rural construction and utilization.The research provides an idea for reference.
