Railway is an important means of transportation for passengers to travel,and plays an important role in promoting the flow of people and the development of national economy.With the continuous improvement of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei multi-level railway network,the passenger transport products of the railway have shown the trend of increasing demand,further improvement of service requirements and increasing demand differences.The choice behavior of passengers is of great significance and value to the design and optimization of multi-level railway passenger transport products.Based on the multi-level railway passenger transport products in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,this paper studies the passenger selection behavior with the goal of the lowest generalized travel cost of the passenger time value,including:(1)Firstly,this paper introduces the connotation of passenger transport products including core products,form products and additional products,analyzes the diversity of train types,stop schemes and train fares that affect passengers’ choice behavior,and determines the behavior criteria of passengers’ choice.It is considered that the generalized travel cost including time value has a great impact on passengers’ choice behavior,and it has a positive impact on passengers’ choice behavior.According to the time value,it can be divided into high-end,middle-end and low-end to study the passenger choice behavior.(2)By means of field research and network inquiry,this paper investigates and analyzes the railway passenger transport products provided by 15 urban nodes,including xiong’an and the Winter Olympic Games,from three aspects: core products,additional products and formal products.It is concluded that the core products and additional products are more dependent on policy factors.At present,there is a need for collaborative optimization of formal products in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,it is based on passenger travel choice behavior.(3)According to the theory of consumer behavior and the principle of benefit cost,a passenger travel cost model is established by considering the time value of passengers on the basis of travel time and travel cost.According to the current situation of railway operation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the time value of passengers,the choice behavior of passengers with different time value at different travel mileage nodes is analyzed,and the low-end time value of 20 yuan/h or less,is determined passengers should choose ordinary speed railway passenger transport products.High-end passengers with time value of 50 yuan/h or above should choose high-speed railway passenger transport products.Middle-end passengers with time value cannot be directly determined due to many influencing factors,so further research is needed.(4)According to the passenger time value node obtained in Chapter 4,with the objective of minimizing the total travel cost of passengers considering the passenger time value,the single objective mathematical programming model is constructed by taking the train stop and whether the passengers choose the train as 0-1 variables and the train capacity and stop time as constraints,use Lingo 18.0 to determine and summarize the travel choice behavior of passengers with time value of 21~50 yuan/h in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
