In recent years,BIM Technology has been applied and developed rapidly in the field of engineering,but in the process of gradual application,new problems also arise,such as the model can not be separated from professional software,so that it is difficult to carry out on-site technical guidance,the system becomes stuck when opening the general model,and the efficiency of data transmission between different specialties is low.These problems greatly limit the further development of BIM in the field of engineering,so the lightweight idea of making the model "light" comes into being.Therefore,based on the data requirements of BIM model,this paper analyzes the defects of BIM in data extraction and engineering application,and proposes a complete and efficient alternative data extraction scheme.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Combined with the actual engineering application requirements,this paper analyzes the idea of the optional data extraction scheme and explains the overall functional requirements,and introduces in detail the key problems such as how to realize the rapid screening of model components and the extraction and export of attribute data.(2)According to the family name,material,elevation and other additional attribute factors of family model components,this paper studies and realizes the selection and extraction of model components with multiple factors,and further improves the functions of browsing,adding or deleting modification,repeated selection,saving as according to the screening results.(3)Aiming at the defects that the parameter data of current model components can not be extracted from multi-ethnic components and local model components separately,an improved scheme is proposed,and the parameter data extraction window is redesigned.Finally,the extracted parameter data is stored as EXECL table.(4)The geometric data in the model components are selected and extracted,the family components are transformed into triangulation geometry,and the extracted triangular patch coordinate information is stored in the corresponding OBJ format file.(5)Taking the actual teaching building engineering model as an example,the design of the optional data extraction scheme system is comprehensively tested,and the feasibility of the extraction scheme in engineering application is verified.
