Landscape Optimization Design Of Xi’an North Yard Gate Historical And Cultural District

Historical and cultural block is an important carrier of displaying the traditional features,regional landscape and cultural characteristics of the city,and also one of the main places for the protection of urban historical relics and buildings,which has a strong comprehensive value.The country attaches great importance to the protection of cultural heritage,and has implemented many plans and designs to protect and change historical and cultural blocks.However,the current environment still has many problems,and its historical characteristics gradually deteriorate with its development.How to optimize the environment of historical and cultural blocks on the basis of protection,so that the sustainable development of blocks is particularly important.This thesis is based on the landscape environment of the historical and cultural district of North Yard Gate in Xi’an as the main research object.Through the collection of historical data,current environmental investigations,and on-site crowd surveys to understand the historical development of the site and current problems,it mainly proposes landscape optimization for the existing problems of the site.Design strategy,improve the neighborhood environment from the aspects of public space,transportation,landscape sketches,building facades,etc.,pay attention to the integration of environment and culture on the basis of protecting historical features,and create composite functions such as commerce,residence,tourism,and culture.The vigorous block landscape space of Xi’an plays an active role in the development of tourism in the historical and cultural city of Xi’an.
