Research On City Parking Difficulty In Nanchong

In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the income of modern families is gradually increasing,and the number of cars is increasing.However,the lag of the construction of parking facilities makes it difficult to park in large and medium-sized cities.The emergence of parking problem has caused urban congestion,affected the happiness index of urban residents and hindered the development of the city.In order to better alleviate urban traffic congestion,improve the happiness index of urban residents,and meet the basic needs of urban development,the key factor is to thoroughly solve the parking problem.Nanchong is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province,which is the central city in the northeast of Sichuan Province.By 2019,Nanchong has the third largest number of motor vehicles and the second largest number of drivers in Sichuan Province.Nanchong’s car ownership is not directly proportional to the number of parking spaces.The parking problems caused by the serious shortage of parking spaces,the rapid growth of rigid demand,the backward parking planning and construction,the imperfect public transportation,the poor parking management,and the low personal quality of parking people make the dynamic transportation more difficult,the urban livelihood problems worse,the urban economic development slower,and the urban image damaged.Firstly,this paper makes a literature study on the problem of parking difficulty in cities at home and abroad,and makes a comprehensive introduction to the successful studies abroad,such as the United States,Japan and Singapore.At the same time,it clarifies and summarizes the existing domestic studies,and clarifies the research space of the problem of parking difficulty in Nanchong City.Based on the theories of new public management,public goods and management by objectives,this paper conceives the research technical route.Then,the paper makes a large-scale field visit to Nanchong City to collect the number and distribution of parking spaces,the utilization of parking facilities,and the questionnaire survey,focusing on the investigation of the current situation of parking difficulties faced by Nanchong City,the negative impact and the reasons for the deep analysis.The author believes that the main reasons for the prominent parking problems are unreasonable planning,inadequate management,and social participation There are three problems with low degree.Secondly,the author thinks that to effectively alleviate the parking problem in Nanchong City,we should give full play to the leading role of the government and strengthen scientific planning.First,we should control the number of cars,second,we should have forward-looking planning,third,we should vigorously develop public transport;optimize the management elements,first,we should improve local laws and regulations and investment and financing channels,second,we should manage science and technology,promote intelligent management,third,we should design fees scientifically In order to improve social participation,we should strengthen publicity and enhance citizens’ awareness of the legal system,and integrate social resources to achieve shared parking.
