Annlication Of BIM In The Operation And Maintenance Platform Of A Large-scale Utility Tunnel

With the rapid development of Utility Tunnel construction in China,building a more intelligent platform has become an urgent need for the operation and maintenance management of the Utility Tunnel project.Meanwhile,BIM(Building Information Model),as a new widely concerned technology in the field of architecture in recent years,has outstanding value in the application of the construction operation and maintenance phase.Therefore,the application of BIM in the operation and maintenance platform of the Utility Tunnel has become a popular development direction.Based on these backgrounds,this study asks two questions from the perspective of BIM application:the first is what value does the application of BIM brings to the construction of operation and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel;the second is how to realize the application value of BIM in the operation and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel.The next step is to implement in-depth exploration and practice for the above two questions。The main contents as follows:For the first question,the study starts with the cognition of BIM by defining the BIM,summarizing the characteristics of BIM and its application value,and analyzing the application status of BIM in the building industry.Further it sorts out the purpose,work content,supporting monitoring system and other relevant theories of the operation and maintenance management of the Utility Tunnel.Finally,it analyzes and puts forward the application value of BIM in the operation and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel in terms of the understanding of relevant theories and application value which includes:providing a method of information representation in 3D visualization,and building an operation and maintenance database of Utility Tunnel based on BIM model.For the second question,this study constructs the basic framework of the operation and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel with BIM from the requirements,system architecture and functional.Then,it explores the content related to BIM application,including building operation and maintenance database of Utility Tunnel based on BIM model;the realization of 3D visualization based on Forge viewer.Finally,according to the case of the Desheng Road Utility Tunnel Project in Hangzhou,it uses prototype design software to simulate the operation and maintenance platform of Utility Tunnel.Based on the research work above,by putting forward clear application ideas and practical implementation methods for the application of BIM in the operation and maintenance platform of the Utility Tunnel,the application values of BIM are able to be embodied.It is as well significant to promote the operation and maintenance management of the Utility Tunnel to be informative,digital and intelligent.
