In pathological diagnosis and research,digital slides have been widely used in hospitals and research institutions due to their characteristics of easy copying,easy preservation,and Internet transmission,as well as observation effects not inferior to traditional glass slides.The demand of digital slides is constantly rising.In order to meet the rising demand for digital slides,the product development of scanning equipment used to prepare digital slides,that is,digital slide scanners,has become one of the hottest research and development of biomedical instruments.To improve the efficiency of preparing digital slides,the digital slide scanner needs to automatically load and unload slides to achieve high-capacity scanning.In order to achieve high capacity requirements,current solution of digital slide scanner usually installs a robotic arm or other loading and unloading equipment on the scanner.It increases the amount of moving parts inside the slide scanner,resulting in a high-capacity digital slide scanner that has higher maintenance requirements and is much more expensive than a scanner that manually loads and unloads slides.The main research goal of this thesis is to improve the design of the moving stage of the digital slide scanner so that the moving stage has the function of automatic loading and unloading of slides.By this way,it can simplify the mechanical structure of the high-capacity digital slide scanner,improve the stability of moving parts,reduce maintenance requirements and manufacturing cost to a certain extent.In order to construct the high-capacity digital slide scanner prototype which aimed at the improvement of the above-mentioned functions,this thesis mainly conducts the following research contents:(1)Planned the workflow of the prototype,carried out the design and selection of the microscope of the prototype.(2)Carried out the type selection of the motor that drives the moving stage.Determined ironless tubular linear motor as the type of motor that drives moving stage of the prototype in order to improve stability and reduce maintenance requirements,and carried out the design and simulation of the ironless tubular linear motor.(3)Built a moving stage for the high-capacity digital slide scanner prototype based on the ironless tubular linear motor.Designed and built a slide rack with automatic lifting and recognition of the number or position of slides.Verified the ability of shortdistance and high-precision reciprocating motion of the stage required for pathological slide scanning.(4)Designed a high-throughput slice scanning technical plan,and introduced in detail the three key technical links: pre-scanning preparations,auto-focus during the scanning of the microscope,and Microscopic image stitching.Realized the acquisition of digital pathology slices.
