| Nowadays,the process of urbanization in China is accelerating and the number of motorvehicle ownership is increasing,but the speed of road infrastructure construction is relatively slow,which makes some intersections in the urban road network in the state of over-saturation during the peak hours.This has caused a series of traffic problems,and seriously affecting the travel efficiency of urban residents.With the increase of road network load,the operation characteristics of traffic flow have a series of changes,resulting in the traditional signal timing strategy has been difficult to deal with.Based on the data of electric police,geomagnetic and Didi platform,this paper analyzes the intersection with green light,oversaturation and queue overflow,and puts forward the traffic flow operation situation under different traffic conditions.The traffic problems at the intersection are judged by the average delay and headway data,and the corresponding signal timing optimization models are established for different problems.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,through the analysis and study of the traffic at the actual intersection,it is found that there are obvious differences between the headway data and the average delay data for different traffic problems.Through the summary of the data,the traffic flow operation law is analyzed,and the traffic flow operation situation in the state of green light emptying and supersaturation is theoretically analyzed.In view of the queue overflow phenomenon,the calculation model of queue length at the queue overflow intersection is established.Then,aiming at the problem of green light,an intersection timing optimization method for green light is established.Aiming at the problem of oversaturation,the intersection timing optimization method is studied by opening reverse variable lane and using overlapping phase to solve the problem of flow oversaturation.Aiming at the queue overflow problem,an intersection timing optimization method for queue overflow is established by compressing and compensating the green light at the upstream intersection.Finally,taking the intersection of Century Road-Huaguang Road and Nanjing RoadHeping West Road in Zhangdian District of Zibo City as examples,the optimization model proposed in this paper is verified.(1)Century Road-Huaguang Road Intersection: After the implementation of intersection signal timing optimization,the circulation efficiency of south import increased by 14.2%,and the total traffic efficiency of intersection increased by 4.4%.South import traffic delays decreased by 33.3% and total intersection delays decreased by6.5%;(2)Nanjing Road-Heping Road Intersection: After the implementation of intersection signal timing optimization,the east import straight,the west import straight,the south import left,the north import straight traffic flow increased by 11.6%,17.7%,25.7%,7.7%,and the total parking delay decreased by 15.8%. |
