Research On Cruise Material Inventory Control Strategy Based On Material Classification

In the case of imbalance between supply and demand of international cruise construction,relying on the huge demand of China’s cruise market,it is time to vigorously develop domestic cruise.However,the existing ship material inventory management mode is difficult to cope with the characteristics of large variety,large quantity,high storage requirements and scattered suppliers,which easily leads to out of control inventory cost.Inventory cost is an important part of cruise construction cost.Effective control of cruise material inventory and improvement of inventory management efficiency can further ensure that cruise construction period and construction cost can be controlled.Therefore,how to optimize the cruise material inventory management has become a problem that cruise construction enterprises need to attach great importance to.This thesis first analyzes the characteristics of cruise materials and the problems and causes of inventory management in the process of cruise construction.On this basis,it puts forward the optimization idea of using ABC classification method combined with the characteristics of cruise materials to classify the materials.On the premise of reasonable classification,combined with the management needs of all kinds of materials,it adopts different inventory strategies.Secondly,according to the characteristics of cruise materials,the evaluation index of ABC classification of cruise materials is determined from the five dimensions of storage dimension,production dimension,procurement dimension,cost dimension and standard dimension,and AHP is used to calculate the weight of each criterion layer and index layer,so as to build the material classification model,based on the classification model,this thesis analyzes the applicability of inventory control strategy for A,B and C materials by using(r,Q)strategy,(t,S)strategy and VMI strategy,so as to construct inventory control strategy.Finally,the classification model and inventory control strategy are applied to the cruise construction project of W company,and the applicability of the classification model and inventory control strategy is verified through the economic benefit analysis of the actual application effect.This thesis constructs the cruise material classification model and inventory control strategy,which provides reference for cruise construction inventory management and inventory cost control.
