Research On Working Capital Management Of China Heavy Industry From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

As an important part of financial management,working capital management determines the future development of enterprises.With the development trend of economic globalization,the competition among enterprises is becoming more and more complex and fierce.The evaluation of enterprise working capital management only limited to financial factors can no longer meet the needs of enterprise development.Therefore,it is necessary to find an angle to integrate the whole process of working capital turnover with enterprise business process.Working capital management from the perspective of supply chain is to analyze the turnover of working capital in the three links of procurement,production and sales.It fully considers the correlation between each link and each business department,and emphasizes the coordination and unity of the whole operation process of the enterprise.However,working capital management from the perspective of supply chain has not been thoroughly applied in China’s shipbuilding enterprises.Therefore,the thesis chooses China shipbuilding industry co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as China’s heavy industry)as the research object.From procurement,production and sales to analyze the problems and causes of its working capital management,having a certain practical significance to improve its working capital management status.This thesis mainly uses trend analysis method,quantitative research method,case study method and comparative analysis method to study the working capital management of China Heavy Industry.Firstly,this thesis uses trend analysis method and comparative analysis method to introduce the status quo of working capital and working capital management of China Heavy Industries from three links of supply chain: procurement,production and sales.Secondly,this thesis uses the quantitative research method from the three links of the supply chain to find the heavy industry working capital management in each link inventory turnover period and money turnover period is too long,and uses the quantitative research method to explore the causes of the problems.It is believed that the management lacks innovative thinking mode.The matching degree of various activities in the supply chain and the close connection between business departments are not enough.The production and operation management mode is not updated in time.Finally,from the perspective of overall planning the whole supply chain,this thesis puts forward some measures to inculcate the concept of supply chain working capital management,improving the enterprise working capital management system and establishing the enterprise ERP system.From the point of view of purchasing link of supply chain,the measures of establishing joint inventory management with suppliers,reducing the capital occupied by upstream suppliers and establishing supplier selection model are put forward.From the point of view of supply chain production link,this thesis puts forward measures to adjust production plan and management mode,JIT production mode and establish specific employee performance appraisal system in time.From the point of view of the sales link of supply chain,this thesis puts forward the measures of perfecting the credit policy of accounts receivable management and strengthening the supervision of sales and financial process.The research of this thesis can be used as a reference for improving the working capital management of China’s heavy industry and related shipbuilding enterprises.It has certain reference value for other enterprises to ensure the sustainable development of working capital management.
