| In the process of urban development,it is inevitable to change or even partially sacrifice the natural ecosystem at the cost of human construction activities to disturb and destroy the natural environment. How to control the negative effects of human activities on the natural environment in the process of urbanization,so as to make the environment more sustainable, which is not only conducive to protecting the environment and reducing the investment in creating a "second nature",but also leaves rooms for future urban operation, management and sustainable development. This article takes the NJGBb013(northern area)of Qixia Mountain area in the new district of eastern Nanjing as an example, and combines the natural elements such as mountains, vegetation, hydrology, and soil which are reserved in the area to be constructed in order to seek a low impact development strategy for this public open space. In the development process of this area,it is better to protect existing resources and make better use of the ecological effects to serve the construction of new urban areas.By discussing the low impact development strategies of small and medium-sized public open spaces in cities, this thesis systematically sorts out the application of low-impact development models in urban public open spaces. This study conducted field investigations through field surveys, interpreted the area planning, used remote sensing images and Arc GIS software to evaluate the ecological sensitivity and land use suitability of public open spaces in the city, analyzed the areas in the area that needed to be protected, restored and renovated. It also proposed low impact development strategies, which are respecting topographic and geomorphic elements, protecting vegetation resources, regulating the hydrological environment, restoring the topsoil and doing soil improvement. It adopts systematic low impact development methods and technologies to provide solutions and systematic low impact development planning and design ideas for the site. This research is based on the above low impact development research strategies, methods and technologies, and is applied to the practice of NJGBb013(northern area)in Qixia Mountain area in the new urban area of eastern Nanjing.By using Arc GIS software, based on ecological sensitivity analysis and land use suitability evaluation, the area is reserved Sensitive areas. It also puts forward low impact landscape design strategies and techniques of “vertical design according to local conditions;scientific and reasonable vegetation protection;hydrological regulation to optimize water network system;restoration of topsoil and soil improvement”.While utilizing, improving and integrating urban natural habitat resources, combined with the NJGBb013(northern area)area engineering practice in the Qixia Mountain area in the new district of eastern Nanjing, the low impact development of the above urban public open areas has been systematically realized. |
