In the electronic information industry,in order to meet the needs of the market and customers,the manufacturing industry and some other companies have introduced serial bus standards.Regulators have already issued standardized tests,and only when the products pass this standardized test can they guarantee their quality requirements.This test is a “consistency” test.Conformance testing,that is,testing whether the external specific behavior achieved by a certain protocol conforms to the standard protocol specification.The purpose of the conformance testing is mainly to determine whether the measured implementation is consistent with the protocol specification standard.This paper combines a certain type of digital oscilloscope project,and focuses on the oscilloscope’s conformance test function.The software part of the oscilloscope conformance test function module is designed to realize the conformance test of USB2.0 protocol and Ethernet protocol.The waveform search function helps users to better observe the waveform results.The details are as follows:1.USB2.0 Conformance Test Module: Based on the requirements of USB2.0 protocol specification,in-depth study on various key test technology theories of USB2.0 conformance test,including signal quality test technology,inrush current test technology,voltage Drop test technology,high-speed dedicated test technology.The actual test results obtained are compared with the protocol specifications to determine whether they meet the conditions.By using the queue data structure,the actual result parameter values over a period of time are recorded and counted.2.Ethernet Conformance Test Module: According to the requirements of IEEE 802.3 2005 and ANSIX3.263 1995 standards for Ethernet physical layer,the 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network interface physical layer conformance test items are mainly studied.Based on this,the overall test plan is proposed.By comparing the test results with the specification standards,it is determined whether the Ethernet physical layer is faulty or not.3.Waveform search module: The waveform search type mainly includes 8 search types,namely edge search,pulse width/glitch search,timeout search,runt search,logical search,setup and hold search,rise/fall time search and bus search.The waveform search function helps users find events of interest and can better observe waveforms.Finally,in the test link of the above three functional modules,the expected results can be obtained within a reasonable calculation range,and each functional module runs normally,and the accuracy of the test module is verified.
