The novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak occurred in early 2020,which made the residents’ daily travel behavior and city traffic structure changed greatly. In order to deeply study the residents’ travel behavior during the epidemic period, the structural equation model, multiple Logistic model and mixed choice model were constructed respectively.Based on the questionnaire survey data of residents’ travel behavior before and after the epidemic, the effects of personal attributes, epidemic attributes, travel attributes and latent variables on residents’ travel mode choice, travel frequency choice and travel behavior change were systematically analyzed. The impact of the main work of this thesis is as follows:(1)Using Likert 5 scale,RP and SP survey method to design the questionnaire of residents’ travel behavior before and after the epidemic.1111 valid questionnaires were obtained by means of online questionnaire and offline questionnaire collected in public places such as railway stations and parks. The distribution of residents’ travel mode and travel frequency choice during the epidemic period was analyzed.(2)Structural equation model was constructed to analyze the relationship between latent variables such as perceived severity, cognition, trust, perceived efficacy and protection motivation, and the impact of personal attributes and epidemic attributes on latent variables. The results show that perceived efficacy directly affects protection motivation, while perceived severity, cognition and trust directly affect perceived efficacy, and then indirectly affect protection motivation.(3)Multiple Logistic model was constructed to analyze the impact of personal attributes, epidemic attributes and travel attributes on residents’ travel mode choice and travel frequency choice behavior. The results showed that the residents with medium or high risk in RP survey or the residents with high risk in SP survey tended to choose slow traffic and private cars during the epidemic period.Female, students, residents with no car and using slow traffic mode tended to travel frequency less than once a week during the epidemic period. The results show that the introduction of latent variables improves the goodness of fit and explanatory ability of the model. The higher the protection motivation, the easier it is to choose slow travel and private car travel. The higher the protection motivation and perceived severity, the lower the travel frequency.(4)A binomial Logistic model was constructed to analyze the influencing factors of residents’ travel mode transfer and travel frequency reduction behavior under different epidemic risk scenarios, and suggestions on residents’ travel and public transport operation were put forward accordingly. The results show that the probability of public transport mode transfer and travel frequency reduction is higher in the high-risk scenario. The more bicycles the family owns and the less travel frequency during the epidemic period, the easier it is for the travelers to switch from public transport to slow traffic;the more cars the family owns, the easier it is for the travelers to switch from public transport to private car.The purpose of travel is non-commuting,choose slow traffic during epidemic period, the higher the motivation of protection, the easier the travelers to reduce the frequency of travel.
