Travel Mode Choice Behavior Analysis For Tibet Passenger

The Tibet autonomous region is located in Southwest China,the capital of which is Lhasa.Lhasa as the center of political economic cultural and religious,it attracts a lots of tourists to Tibet every year.However,the link between the mainland and Tibet road mainly relies on Qinghai Tibet railway,Qinghai Tibet highway,Sichuan Tibet highway,Yunnan Tibet highway and Xinjiang Tibet highway.Yunnan Tibet highway and Xinjiang Tibet highway cannot keep smooth all the year.The backward transportation is not conducive to the development of Tibet's economy and the improvement of people's living standard.Compared with the general highway,expressway has advantages in the overall level of transport services.The Beijing-Lhasa expressway has been included in the “National highway network planning”.It is as one of the radiation for the capital.In the future,the overall level of transport services in Tibet will be improved.Studying on the travel mode choice of Tibet passenger can help explain the factors which affect people's choice.when forecast the Qinghai Tibet expressway traffic demand,the influence factors can be used in the channel traffic mode division.by this way,the prediction accuracy of the model will be improved,and the mode will serve the Qinghai Tibet expressway construction better.Firstly,this paper reviews the research methods,data survey and research object of domestic and international travel research.The influence factors of mode choice for Tibet passenger are analyzed detail in the paper,which lays foundation for the flowing construction of travel mode choice for Tibet passenger and travel characteristics analysis in the paper.Secondly,structural equation model and multinomial logit model are linked after introducing the latent variable attributes.A SEM-Logit travel mode discrete choice is established,which considers the objective factors and subjective factors.Thirdly,in order to obtain the basic data sample,the survey scheme and survey content were designed,and RP&SP survey methods are used in the random survey of travel for Tibet passenger.Based on the data,we did descriptive statistics and comparison of the basic information for Tibet passenger,then some travel rules are concluded in the end.Finally,with the survey sample data,the travel model choice behavior of Tibet passenger was studied by using established SEM-Logit model,and the model fitting results were tested in the paper.The result shows that the model has goo explanatory.at last,the choose reason was explained,which further clarifies the Tibet passenger characteristics for mode choice.
