At present,there is a sharp contradiction between supply and demand in the world energy market,and low energy efficiency leads to a series of environmental problems.In order to achieve sustainable development and promote the transformation of economic development model into green economy and low-carbon economy,it is the only way to improve energy efficiency and reduce the negative environmental effects of energy consumption.In this context,it is necessary to study the energy efficiency in China.At the same time,green finance and its branch carbon finance can provide strong support for the development of green low-carbon economy.From the perspective of national major regional strategy,this paper studies the spatial-temporal differences of energy efficiency in different regions and their influencing factors,which is different from the traditional regional division of the East,the West and the East,so as to provide theoretical basis and policy suggestions for improving energy efficiency from the perspective of regional strategy.In this paper,SBM model and GML index are combined to estimate the total factor energy efficiency considering energy consumption and environmental pollution in 30 provinces of China from 2004 to 2017,and analyze the temporal and spatial differences of the total factor energy efficiency at the national and subregional levels.At the same time,panel data model is used to conduct empirical analysis of the factors affecting the total factor energy efficiency at the national and subregional levels.It is found that,on the whole,the growth rate of national total factor energy efficiency has reached 7.30% annually,which is mainly due to the improvement of technological progress,and the improvement of technological efficiency also contributes to it;In terms of sub regions,the average growth rate of total factor energy efficiency in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region is the highest.The Yangtze River economic belt has the smallest increase in technological progress,but the highest index of technological efficiency.The gap of total factor energy efficiency between the whole country and different regions continues to expand;For the whole country,technological innovation,industrial structure and utilization of foreign capital have significant effect on the improvement of total factor energy efficiency,energy consumption structure has significant inhibition on the improvement of total factor energy efficiency,and the influence of variables in different regions on total factor energy efficiency is different.
