Research On Landscape Renewal Design Of Urban Industrial Wasteland Based On Place Memory

Since the founding of the people’s Republic of China,with the continuous intensification of urbanization process and the continuous expansion of the scale of modern cities,the original suburbs have been gradually brought into the scope of the city center,and the industrial wasteland on the edge of the city has also been included in the core scope of the City,and then how to carry out landscape renewal design of these industrial wasteland has become a key issue.A large number of industrial wasteland is left in the urban area,which not only affects the overall image of the city,but also causes idle land resources.Industrial wasteland is a witness of the development of urban society.Every industrial wasteland has a profound historical background and cultural heritage.Due to the imperfection of relevant theoretical system and the lack of practical experience,the context and spirit of the place are not considered.Many industrial plants adopt the mode of blind demolition and reconstruction in the renewal,and the buildings and site symbols familiar to urban residents are familiar with No.1 is gone,the imprint of past life is erased at the same time,and the memory of industrial plant area is also slowly disappearing.The reuse of urban industrial wasteland has a certain impact on the lack of urban landscape and place memory.Therefore,more and more attention has been paid to the landscape renewal of urban industrial wasteland.The focus of this paper is whether the public can retain the urban industry during the renewal The results are as follows:1.According to the literature review and comparison,the following problems are found in the landscape renewal of Urban Industrial Wasteland: urban expansion leads to the abuse of such land resources as urban industrial wasteland,the lack of landscape and the lack of place memory.At the same time,it is concluded that the main reason affecting the development of urban industrial wasteland is the imperfection of relevant laws and regulations The whole theoretical system is lack of public participation;2.Combing with the successful cases at home and abroad,this paper combs the relevant strategies of urban industrial wasteland transformation.This paper aims at activating,continuing and rendering the memory of urban industrial wasteland landscape,and takes historical,holistic,people-oriented and sustainable development as the principles of landscape renewal design of urban industrial wasteland,and puts forward five major designs: the continuation of space,the continuation of ecology,the reuse of Industrial Relics,the excavation of historical context of the site from the perspective of humanization and industrial integration Strategy.3.In practice,Tonghua towel factory is taken as an example to carry out landscape renewal design.It digs the past memory of the site,extracts memory symbols,and considers how the design should carry the memory of the past,present and future of the site.Through the investigation of the needs of the crowd and the analysis of the site characteristics,it is concluded that the surrounding people need an open activity Space.The design will start from the above five design strategies to update the landscape of towel factory.To retain and inherit the context of urban industrial wasteland,the memory of urban industrial wasteland can be continued and reintegrated into the urban environment and establish social public identity.
