Research On Composite Design Of Cultural Center Based On Cultural Ecology Theory

Since the 21st century,China’s cities have been developing rapidly.Due to the concentration of urban population and the shortage of land use,it is necessary to integrate multiple urban public functions.Therefore,urban public buildings gradually tend to compound design,and the number of multi-functional complex buildings is increasing,which provides one-stop shopping for people.At the same time,with people’s growing spiritual and cultural needs,the development of cities attaches more importance to the revitalization of culture,a large number of cultural buildings have been built.However,the construction of cultural buildings still lacks systematicness,and some cultural venues have problems such as low utilization rate,imperfect service,and disconnection from the overall planning of city functions.In order to solve these problems and better serve the public,cultural architecture should gradually transform into intensive and compound to form a comprehensive cultural center building with multiple functions.With the increase of the compound degree of the cultural center building,the cultural center is more closely related to the construction of the city function,the expansion of the city space,and the development of the city cultural system.Therefore,this paper introduces the cultural ecology theory and carries on the research to the cultural center building compound design through the city and the building two stratification planes.The full thesis is divided into five parts:The first chapter introduces the research background and research methods of the thesis.Through the investigation of the development of the cultural center building,the existing problems are found.The second chapter is the research idea of the thesis,which summarizes the development and evolution of the cultural center compound,carries on the ecological thinking to the compound design of the cultural center building,and constructs the compound system of the cultural center under the Cultural Ecology Theory.The third chapter is the design strategy,which combines the domestic and foreign examples,and carries on the analysis one by one to the compound cultural center architectural design from the aspect of function,space,transportation,and image.The related strategies such as “Functional diversification coupling”,“Space multi-level construction”,“Streamline multi-type organization” and “Image regional expression” are put forward The fourth chapter is the practice part.It introduces the studio floor-to-ceiling project of the cultural center of Gangcheng District.The total construction area of the cultural center of Gangcheng District is more than 60,000 square meters,as a cultural complex that combines leisure,commerce,and other functions.The project makes an argument for the former part of the theory through the interpretation of its multi-library compound model.Finally,the fifth chapter concludes this thesis and introduces innovations and research prospects.This thesis puts forward relevant strategies for the cultural center through the study of the cultural center building compound,which provides a reference for the development of the cultural center.It can play an important role in facilitating citizens’ daily cultural life,creating the image of the city’s cultural brand,and promoting the development of the city’s cultural industry.
