Study On The Strategy Of Vernacular Elements In The Creation Of Rural Road Landscape

With the development of the times,rural road landscape vernacular creation has become an important topic.As the main carrier of vernacular elements,the application of vernacular elements in the road landscape plays a vital role in the continuation of the original appearance of the countryside,the expression of regional cultural characteristics,the return of local sentiment and the establishment of "cultural confidence".Based on the current situation of research on rural roads and rural road landscape and the application of vernacular elements at home and abroad,this paper takes rural roads in Changsha City as the research object,takes vernacular elements as the entry point,thoroughly studies the composition,characteristics and role of rural road landscape,analyzes the connotation,characteristics,classification and application methods of vernacular elements,analyzes the mutual relationship between vernacular elements and rural road landscape,and proposes the application path and target orientation of vernacular elements in the creation of rural road landscape.The application path and target orientation of vernacular elements in rural road landscape construction are proposed.Through field research on the current situation of the application of vernacular elements in rural road landscape in Changsha,we analyze the current problems of the application of vernacular elements in the creation of rural road landscape in Changsha,i.e.,vernacular terrain and landforms are not paid attention to,one-sided vernacularization techniques of road landscape vignettes,single vernacular material lacks vitality,vernacular elements are not coordinated with road facilities,people’s own prejudice against vernacular and neglect of vernacular elements cause road ecological and landscape problems.Secondly,based on the function and grade of rural roads and other current construction conditions,the feasibility and necessity of the application of vernacular elements and the appropriate methods and measures as a pedal,the application strategy of vernacular elements is proposed.With the principles of safety first and benefit maximization,flexible development and design dynamics,localization and road characterization,overall renewal and regional balance and public participation and landscape beauty,the concept of protecting vernacular elements,reproducing vernacular elements and revitalizing vernacular elements is adopted.From the macro planning of road selection line,road traffic habitat connectivity,rural road traffic stability close area,rural greenway and rural scenic road;the meso layout of road and the combination of various types of rural environment;to the micro level of village internal road space reconstruction,scene rendering and emotional sublimation and the application of vernacular materials and color expression and other aspects of the application of vernacular elements research.Finally,using the fine line of Chunhua Town in Changsha County as an example study,the feasibility of the research theory and application strategy is analyzed and demonstrated to provide effective ideas for the continuation of rural culture and rural road landscape planning.
